The LIJIE semi-automatic banana chips production line is developed for commercial processing of banana and plantain chips. Compared with a large continuous automatic line, this configuration uses individual processing machines that can be operated independently, providing greater flexibility for small and medium snack factories.
After manual peeling, bananas or plantains are sliced into uniform pieces, batch fried, centrifugally de-oiled, evenly seasoned and finally sealed into bags. The production configuration can be adjusted according to required output, workshop space, heating method and local electrical standards.
Manual Peeling → Slicing → Frying → De-oiling → Seasoning → Sealing
The semi-automatic configuration simplifies the traditional banana chips processing process while retaining the key stages that directly affect slice uniformity, frying quality, surface oil content, flavor distribution and final packaging.
1. Banana / Plantain Slicing Machine
Fresh peeled bananas or plantains are manually placed into the feeding tubes. The slicing unit cuts the raw material into relatively uniform round slices before frying. Multiple feeding positions allow operators to process several bananas at the same time.
2.Double Basket Banana Chips Fryer
The sliced banana or plantain pieces are transferred to the batch fryer. The double-basket structure provides flexible batch operation and allows operators to control frying time according to product condition and processing requirements.
Different heating configurations can be designed according to the customer's local energy conditions.
3. Centrifugal De-Oiling Machine
After frying, banana chips are placed into the perforated stainless-steel basket of the centrifugal de-oiling machine. High-speed rotation helps remove excess surface oil from the fried chips before seasoning.
This step prepares the chips for more uniform seasoning and reduces excessive oil remaining on the product surface.
4. Octagonal Seasoning Machine
The fried and de-oiled banana chips are transferred into the octagonal seasoning drum. During rotation, the chips continuously tumble inside the drum while seasoning powder is added, helping distribute flavor more evenly across the product surface.
5. Continuous Bag Sealing Machine
After seasoning, the finished banana chips can be packed into prepared bags and passed through the continuous band sealer. The compact sealing unit provides a practical packaging solution for small and medium-scale production.
